Children's Indoor Play Space (CHIPS) Program is a drop-in parent/guardian supervised playgroup. You and your children (0 - 5 years old) will enjoy a safe , fun environment for burning off lots of energy with a focus on gross motor skills development. If you're interested in attending this unique program with your child then drop by the Innisfail LLC Community Room to check it out.

Ages: 0 - 5 years
Cost: Free (No registration required)

Home Alone Training Program

Home Alone training is designed to give children the tools and knowledge to look after themselves while at home alone for short periods of time. Home Alone is recommended for kids 10 - 13 years old and is not a certified course.

What the kids learn:
Their rights and responsibilities when at home alone
→ Safe practices when at home
 How to respond safely to emergencies
 How to keep constructively occupied

Ages: At least 10 but less than 13
Cost: $30
When: Friday, September 22, 10 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Babysitting Course (Canadian Red Cross)

What every babysitter should know. This one-day course is offered two times per year (Spring and Fall), and will provide potential sitters with the techniques to become a more reliable, confident and safe babysitter. Certificate program is for youth ages 11-15 years.

What the kids learn:
 Provide caregiving skills to younger children
 Create a safe and fun environment
 Provide basic first aid
 Prevent/Respond in emergency situations

Ages: At least 11 but less than 15
Cost: $45
When: Friday, October 6, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
