The Innisfail Royal Canadian Legion Branch 104 regularly takes in contributions of used medical equipment from families of former Legion members. This equipment is lent out to members when needed and, in the event of excess stock, pay it forward by donating to the Lending Cupboard in Red Deer. Recently, the Legion discovered that the Town of Innisfail had a need for these resources on-site at the Library Learning Centre and graciously donated one of their wheelchairs and walkers.

The Town would like to extend their gratitude to the Legion for this much-needed donation and their continued support of the community. Users of the facility – whether they’re there for an event, program or accessing the Library – can take comfort in knowing that this equipment is available to them should the need arise.
