Wild Rose Assessment Services Inc. states that the 2014 property value increased an average of five per cent in Innisfail.

Council approved a zero rate change to the property mill rates for 2014; hence a property tax increase reflects the market value increase only.

The Town of Innisfail will continue in a contract to provide shared planning services available to municipalities through Parkland Community Planning Services (PCPS).

The council approved agreement will ensure residents enjoy efficient and cost effective services related to planning for the community's future. The new three year term starts April 1, 2014.

Town council approves the purchase of an essential piece of equipment designed to flush the Town's sanitary sewer system.

This purchase was allotted for in the 2014 capital plan with the current flusher truck being 30 years old and past its usefulness.
