In accordance with the Town’s Traffic Bylaw, holiday trailers and recreational vehicles are not permitted to be parked on front driveways between Oct. 31 and April 1. Rear driveways are an acceptable alternate location.

Innisfail Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) is a partnership between the Province and a Municipality or Metis Settlement that develops locally driven preventative social initiatives to enhance the social well-being of individuals, families and communities. To obtain FCSS conditional funding, programs or service providers must fit within the Innisfail FCSS priorities and meet the Provincial Family & Community Support Services regulations.  The FCSS of Innisfail funding is available to individuals and/or organizations that provide new/current program(s) or services(s) within Innisfail. The program/services must support individuals and strengthen communities and be preventative in nature.

The Innisfail Handi-Van will operate trips to and from the polling station free of charge on Election Day (Oct. 16)  between 10 a.m.and 4 p.m. Trips must be booked in advance—to schedule a free pickup/drop-off, please call 403-227-3622.

Fire Prevention Week Oct. 8 - 14 — EVERY SECOND COUNTS: PLAN 2 WAYS OUT!

Members of the fire department will be touring the community spreading the message of this year’s Fire Prevention Week theme — ‘Every Second Counts: Plan 2 Ways Out!’ During this week, some community visits will be open exclusively to residents / members of the facility being visited.

A Fire Hall Open House will be held Oct. 11 from 5 - 7 p.m. for ALL to attend. Come out and enjoy the BBQ, tour the hall, meet firefighters and Sparky the Fire Dog (mascot), and learn how to devise and rehearse a fire escape plan.
