The unofficial start of fall was marked in style with a solid lineup of events in Innisfail on Saturday. The Innisfail Historical Village’s Fall Festival and Art Walk showed off the talents of local artists and artisans throughout the afternoon, while more than 100 people attended an organized dinner in the evening. Music, pottery and painting were just some of the art forms displayed throughout, with organizers noting the event went “really well.”

On behalf of the Town of Innisfail Summer Camps Program, we would like to extend a huge thank you to our volunteers and field trip hosts. A special thank you to our campers who made camp so much fun. We will miss all of you.

It was so wonderful to watch the kids grow throughout the summer and we look forward to seeing everyone back next year as campers or as Leaders in Training!

The Town of Innisfail is the recipient of a $2500.00 grant through Fortis Alberta’s Tree Planting program.

 The grant funding will be used to purchase 8 Brandon Elms with the intent to replace the lilac shrubs currently planted in random sites along the 52 Avenue boulevards, between the entrances of 41st Street Crescent.
