VIA THE INNISFAIL PROVINCE, Nov. 3, 2015: Citizens and developers will soon pay more to receive essential planning or development services from the town.

At town council’s Oct. 26 regular meeting, the new Safety Codes Permit Bylaw and the Planning Services Fee Bylaw were presented and approved. Each bylaw contains new fee schedules for town services, which take effect on Jan. 1, 2016.

VIA THE INNISFAIL PROVINCE, Nov. 3, 2015: Innisfail’s two primary recreational facilities have been given a “fair” bill of health.

A life cycle assessment was completed by Williams Engineering Canada in September on the more than 25-year-old Innisfail Twin Arena and Innisfail Aquatic Centre and both were found to be in “fair condition”, said a report brought to town council at its Oct. 26 regular meeting.
