Innisfail Town Council on Monday approved the Town’s 2019 Property Tax Rate Bylaw, which sees a slight increase from 2018 municipal residential mill rates. Residential property bills will most likely reflect a minor increase, if any, depending on their 2019 assessment value.

The Town of Innisfail is developing a Feasibility Study to determine the level of need for recreation, leisure, and cultural services and amenities in Innisfail and to provide refreshed priorities for investment into facilities and programming. Gathering input from area residents on the current state of these services and future needs for recreation, leisure, and culture is an important part of planning.

The Town has opened one bay of the Innisfail RV Sani-Dump. The remainder of the bays will be in service on the May long weekend.
Please be advised that not all bays are open and functioning at this time. Barricades remain in place for bays that are not operational.

On Sunday, May 5, 2019, five members of the Innisfail Fire Department climbed one of western Canada's tallest buildings, raising funds to help support those fighting cancer.
