The Town of Innisfail is pleased to welcome the newest member of its administrative leadership team. Steven Kennedy, currently of Tagish Engineering in Red Deer, assumes the role of Director of Operational Services effective Tuesday, Aug. 20.
Kennedy — who for the past several weeks has been working at the Town Office on an interim basis in a related capacity — arrives in Innisfail with a wealth of experience in engineering, infrastructure management and project co-ordination.
He also brings with him a solid understanding of the Town’s operational capacity, having developed strong working relationships with a number of Town staff during his time as Senior Project Manager with Tagish.
“With all that he brings to the table, we’re tremendously excited to welcome Steve to the organization,” said CAO Todd Becker. “With his vast experience and proven leadership qualities, he has all the right ingredients to help move the community forward.”
