Penalty fees for outstanding balances will appear on utility bills after July 30, 2020.
To help our residents during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Town suspended late fees on outstanding utility bill balances in early 2020. This measure remains in effect until July 30, 2020. This means that any remaining overdue balance on your utility bill will be subject to late fees starting on July 31. These fees will appear on the utility bill you receive in early August.
Please note that the measures put in place in April do not mean outstanding balances on your utility bill are excused. You are still required to pay for water and services that you have used, and any outstanding balance will have been carried forward from your previous bill.
Residents will also notice an slight increase in charges as the $5 recycling fee, which was waived while curbside recycling collection was suspended, will once again be included on utility bills.
