Each year, Town Administration prepares a budget to cover the next year’s anticipated operating and capital costs. This budget is then reviewed by Town Council during meetings that run over multiple days.
This year, these meetings are scheduled for Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25. Tuesday, November 29 will be added if deliberations have not concluded at the end of the Friday session.
The public is invited to attend these meetings in person, but meetings will also be streamed live through our dedicated web portal. Due to the length of these sessions, recordings may not be available.
The operating budget covers the day-to-day expenses associated with regular Town functions. Examples include supplies, employee salaries, administrative costs (such as insurance), and utilities.
The capital budget identifies projects that the Town aspires to undertake in an upcoming year. Examples include items like road repairs, construction of recreational facilities, and infrastructure upgrades.
