Meditation for Children
In light of ongoing developments around the COVID-19 virus, and in alignment with the advice of public health officials, Town facilities are re-opening with restrictions in place. Town of Innisfail programs remain limited at this time.
Mental and physical benefits of meditation are now widely recognized!
Meditation affects different parts of the brain, including the parietal lobe which slows down during meditation providing the ability to process information more clearly!
These registered programs are held on Mondays at the Library Learning Centre HALL Meeting Room (5300A 55 St. Close) with instruction by Annie.
Meditation Session: Adult Weekly
Weekly Meditation Sessions
Join Annie for an exploration of our inner and outside worlds, through mindful practices and meditation. Meditation and breathwork will be focused-on to ease stress and help attendees relax. These weekly classes are aimed at group support and encouraging conversation. Participants will find ways to build connections and come away with strategies to feel more grounded. Annie will help us take time for self-care and release negative energy. This class is suitable beginners and those with experience meditating.
