FREE Ageism Awareness Film and Discussion

Age-Friendly Communities across Alberta, alongside ThirdACTion Film Festival, have joined together to offer our communities an Ageism Awareness event “Golden: Ageism Awareness – Film and Discussion”.

ThirdACTion Film Festival will be hosting a live screening in Calgary of the documentary “Golden” in a shortened version for this event and will be simulcast at various host partner locations across Alberta. The event is being offered on 2 different dates, as well, it will be offered virtually on both dates.

Age-Friendly Innisfail will be a host partner for the March 9, 2023 broadcast from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm at the Innisfail Seniors Drop-In Centre. As the event is being held over lunch, Age-Friendly Innisfail will be providing a light lunch to attendees.  The event will include a light lunch, introduction, viewing of “Golden: Ageism Awareness” the documentary, and concluding with some discussion questions.
