Youth Summer Programs (10-17) – Offsite trips

Golf (Driving Range):

• Location: Innisfail Golf Course
• Ages: 10 – 13 and 14 – 17
• Date: July 20 & August 22
• Fee: $5
• Time: 1:00 pm-2:00 pm (Ages: 10-13) 2:00 pm-3:00 pm (Ages: 14-17)
• Registration is required

Join us at the Innisfail Golf Course to hit some golf balls on the driving range and learn more about golf! Summer youth programs are subject to change and are weather dependent, follow the Innisfail Recreation & Culture Facebook page for updates. Please bring water and sunscreen. This program is for all skill levels, and all equipment will be provided.

Alberta Sports Hall of Fame/Heritage Ranch

• Ages: 10 – 17
• Date: July 27
• Fee: $15
• Pick up at Innisfail Aquatic Centre: 12:30 pm
• Drop off at Innisfail Aquatic Centre: 4:00 pm
• Registration is required

Come and join us for a fun afternoon of learning about Alberta’s sports heroes and enjoy a walk-through Heritage Ranch. This program is intended for youth ages 10 – 17 and transportation will be provided from the Innisfail Aquatic Centre to Alberta Sports Hall of Fame/Heritage Ranch. Please bring water and a snack for the trip.

Discovery Canyon

• Ages: 10 – 17
• Date: August 10
• Fee: $15
• Pick up at Innisfail Aquatic Centre: 10:00 am
• Drop off at Innisfail Aquatic Centre: 1:30 pm
• Registration is required

Located along the Red Deer River Discover Canyon is a fun and exciting waterpark where youth can float and have fun at the playground. This program is intended for youth ages 10 – 17 and transportation will be provided from the Innisfail Aquatic Centre to Discovery Canyon. Please bring a lunch, water, sunscreen, bathing suit and towel. We also encourage youth to come wearing their bathing suit.

Trailhead Climbing

• Ages: 10 – 17
• Date: August 24
• Fee: $15
• Pick up at Innisfail Aquatic Centre: 12:30 pm
• Drop off at Innisfail Aquatic Centre: 2:30 pm
• Registration is required

The Trailhead Climbing fun zone is a fun and safe environment where youth can learn new climbing skills and test out the fun zones 11 climbing challenges and 15 auto-belays. This program is intended for youth ages 10 – 17 and transportation will be provided from the Innisfail Aquatic Centre to Trailhead Climbing. Please bring water, clean indoor shoes or $4 to rent shoes.
