Youth Week 2023

The Town of Innisfail is proud to celebrate the tremendous young people in our community for the next few days. Mark your calendars for these upcoming events and programs from Youth Action Innisfail for youth aged 12 to 19:

Monday, May 1

- Treat Day at Innisfail High School: Open to students only and will be provided in-person at the School.

Tuesday, May 2

- Treat Day at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys School: Open to students only and will be provided in-person at the School.

- Climbing Night - Gym #4 – 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm: Free climbing for youth aged 12-19. Gear is provided. Please use the Community Use Entrance to access the gym. Waivers must be signed by a parent or guardian for those under 18 years of age.

Wednesday, May 3

- Dodgeball Night - Gym #4 – 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm: Free dodgeball for youth aged 12-19 at the Innisfail Middle School. There will be games, challenges and prizes available.

Thursday, May 4

- May the Fourth Dance Night – Community Room at the Library Learning Centre - 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm: Our favourite DJ, JayceOnTheCayce will be playing! Snacks and treats as well as a chill spot will be available. As a bonus wear your best 'Star Wars' costume or clothing to win a prize.

Friday, May 5

- Movie & Swim Night at the Innisfail Aquatic Centre - 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm: Free to attend for youth aged 12-19. Puss and Boots 2 will be played during the swim. Others are welcome to attend for the price of a WIBIT swim.

Saturday, May 6

- Bowling Day - Innisfail Bowling Lanes - 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm: Register by contacting Innisfail Bowling Lanes at 403-227-5342. Suggested group sizes are 4 to 6 people, get a group together with friends to register!
