FCSS Programs & Events

What is FCSS?

Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) is a partnership between the Government of Alberta and local municipalities that provides preventive programs and services to strengthen individuals, families, and communities. Rather than responding only when challenges arise, FCSS focuses on helping people build the skills, knowledge, relationships, and supports that contribute to long-term wellbeing.

Programs and services are developed based on local needs and are designed to promote social inclusion, encourage community involvement, strengthen relationships, and improve quality of life for residents of all ages.

Community Events & Programs

FCSS offers a variety of events, workshops, educational sessions, and community programs throughout the year. Whether you're looking to learn something new, meet others in the community, support your family's wellbeing, or access local resources, our programs are designed to foster connection, encourage lifelong learning, and support healthy, resilient communities.
