Innisfail RCMP and Town of Innisfail Peace Officers are responding to the positive behavior of our town’s youth.
While out in the community, Innisfail RCMP and Town of Innisfail Peace Officers often witness youth engaged in activities that enhance the vitality of our community, and also promote their own safety and that others. Through the campaign, officers issue a Positive Ticket to youth who are caught “doing the right thing”.
The campaign has been active for a years, but Town of Innisfail staff have kicked off a new round of ticketing, emphasizing the importance of rewarding positive behavior demonstrated by young role models in our community. An example of behavior that would officers would notice would be the wearing of proper safety equipment, such as a helmet, while riding a bicycle.
Included with these tickets are coupons for a free product or service from a local business.
